Pinochet has been arrested again

But he has not been punished for violation of human rights in the period, when he was a dictator of Chile. And not for the «Operation Condor» that butchered hundreds and hundreds of lives of left ideas advocates throughout all Latin America. Court decided that former dictator is too sick and mentally ill to be held responsible for murders of seventies-eighties. Nowadays it is no longer a secret for anybody that Pinochet skillfully simulates his diseases. Even in nineties among the journalists of Santiago de Chile there were spread rumors that he was so sick, that he had enuresis and every thirty minutes he had to replace diapers. But everybody remembers the scene, when Pinochet in a wheel chair was brought down the ladder of the airplane that arrived from London, where ex-dictator spent several long months under house arrest. Hardly had all the four wheels of his chair touched the Chilean land, when Pinochet briskly got up and cheered by those, who came to meet him, cheerfully walked along the airfield.
Pinochet was arrested for tax evasion and forgery of documents. He has been also accused in hiding of information about his his financial state. Charges concern his secret foreign bank accounts to the amount of 28 million dollars.
Such crimes cannot be forgiven by the world of capital and neo-liberals. This June the Chilean court decided that Augusto Pinochet should be punished for non-payment of taxes and the Court of Appeal stripped him from immunity that is due to him as a former president of the country. Now even the diapers will be of no use!
