In revolutionary Venezuela there are problems with sex

By number of symposiums, conferences and forums dedicated to sex problems, Venezuela, probably, has broken all records. If to believe specialists in that sphere of intimate relations, the reason of such hypertrophied interest to sex is explained by its less and less presence in life Venezuelans. By statistics about 50 % of Venezuelan men have serious problems in that sphere, and women considerably exceed this index.

At the international symposium on the subject of «sexual satisfaction», held in Caracas, experts have almost unanimously indicated: the answer to «loss of appetite for sex» is to be looked for in excessive passion for work, in everyday stresses, growth of cost of living, acute political collisions that time and again shake the countries of Latin America. At present Venezuela is the indubitable leader of «revolutionary initiatives» on the continent. It is not surprising that during all last years the specialists have indicated on «the revolutionary underlying reason» of the national crisis in the sphere of sex.

The most vivid indicator of «drop of sexual activity» of Venezuelans are empty rooms in motels and hotels that earlier served as «cosy nets» for loving couples. As the owner of one popular motel on the Panamerican highway confesses, on Saturdays and Sundays «the load» of the establishment has dropped by 40-50 %, and on week days it has reached such critical level that economic efficiency of this business arouses worries.

Bu the motel owner is not inclined to blame the politics for the drop of sexual activities of Venezuelans and is going to better comfort of rooms, to ornate them with mirrors, decorative fountains, to fit them with free arsenal of «sex toys». He believes that sound cheerful and optimistic nature of Venezuelans will prevail,and again it will be «full house» in motels, and by parameters of sex statistics Venezuela, as before, will take leading positions.
